Testing Mode

Purpose #

Temporarily enable Manager testing-mode so operators can inspect rule/block behavior without treating the node as production enforcement.

Procedure #

zwallctl test-flush-status
zwallctl test-flush          # optional interval argument
zwallctl test-flush-disableCopy

API: POST|GET|DELETE /api/v1/maintenance/testing-mode, POST /api/v1/maintenance/testing-mode/flush. Admin role. CLI: zwallctl test-flush*.

Verification #

test-flush-status reflects enabled/disabled. After disable, enforcement on Virtualization Agents is expected to resume if eBPF is attached and rules are assigned.

Do not #

• Use as a performance test or PPS trial
• Leave enabled on production hypervisors
• Expect Hosting Agents to enforce; testing mode is not a Hosting control
